I decided to look for a better rice cooker and chose Cuchen
I've always been a bit disappointed with the taste of my rice, so I decided to look for a better rice cooker and chose Cuchen. I'd been using a rice cooker my husband's friend gave us as a housewarming gift 5 years ago, but it was finally time for an upgrade. This new one seems a bit larger than the 10-cup one I had before, and the exterior has this beautiful ceramic-like finish that I absolutely love. I went with the white color, and it looks more like a sculpture than a rice cooker!
It cooks not only white rice but also 10 different types of multigrain rice with ease. My previous rice cooker always left the multigrain rice a bit hard and undercooked, but this one made me realize how delicious multigrain rice can truly be. The rice itself tastes amazing. I'm hoping to keep the inner pot in good condition and avoid scratches. It feels incredibly sturdy and heavier than my old one. I've heard great things about the dyking inner pot, and now I understand why. The ceramic-like exterior does show fingerprints easily, but it wipes clean with a kitchen towel, so I clean the outside every day.
