I can’t believe I can enjoy multigrain rice with such a soft texture without even soaking it in water first...  Since I loved the results after the first use, I’ve decided that next time, I’ll try making 100% brown rice without soaking it beforehand. Haha.

The "Steaming" (Tteum) and "Soaking" (Bullim) functions for adjusting rice flavor can be set from levels 1 to 3.

• The Steaming function ensures the rice is cooked evenly inside and out, bringing out a deeper, more savory aroma.

• The Soaking function allows hard multigrains to be cooked thoroughly, making them moist and soft.

I prefer eating multigrain rice over white rice for health reasons, but I used to feel rushed in the evenings because I had to factor in soaking time. However, ever since I started using the Cuchen 6-cup 121 Plus, that feeling of being rushed is a thing of the past!
