I recently moved and bought a new rice cooker. I was doing some online research about the latest rice cookers and came across a beautiful, snow-white one that looked like white jade, so I decided to purchase it. It cost $400, which wasn't cheap for a rice cooker, so I hesitated a bit. However, it looked so pretty, and I heard that it cooks mixed grains exceptionally well, which convinced me to buy it. First, I tried cooking mixed grains, and honestly, it was so delicious I wondered if it was even possible for mixed rice to taste this good. The rice cooker also has an automatic cleaning function that sterilizes every nook and cranny with steam, so it's hygienically well-designed. Yesterday, I made braised pork ribs. After soaking the pork ribs to remove the blood, I added half an apple (grated), carrots, potatoes, and onions, and then used the multi-steam function for 50 minutes. The meat became incredibly tender, falling right off the bone, and the vegetables retained their fresh taste, which my family loved. I'm planning to try other dishes next time. The best things about this rice cooker are, first, how deliciously it cooks mixed grains, and second, how quickly and easily you can use various steam menus.
