Finally snagged this rice cooker after seeing it in ads forever! My last one was a Cuchen too, and now I've got the new hotness. That old Cuchen lasted me a solid 10 years, so fingers crossed this one does the same. The coolest thing is I can tweak everything – soaking, steaming, you name it – so I can cook rice exactly how my family digs it. We're more of a firm rice crew, not too sticky, so I cut back on the steaming. Seriously, the rice comes out perfectly firm and all shiny – it's kinda wild! I think all that instant rice we eat has made us like it that way. This is my third Cuchen cooker, so my grandma and mom have scored some extra paddles and measuring cups. Seriously though, every time I look at this new cooker, I'm just blown away by how fancy it looks, like ceramic or something, and the color is just gorgeous.
